We understand that starting a new project can come with uncertainties. That’s why we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions to help you understand our process, pricing, and services. At Stratigem, transparency is key—we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
How much do I pay to get started?
As of January 2025, Stratigem does not require that clients make an initial deposit to start a design project. We trust that the clients who take the time to meet with our team and discuss their goals, are invested enough in their business’ success to complete the project. Payments are based on milestones that are completed every 1-3 weeks. Upon the review and approval of each milestone, 1/4 of the project’s total cost is billed to the client.
How long does it take to complete a project?
The time it takes for our team to complete a design project largely depends on the scale of the project. We aim to complete each of the 4 milestones within 1-3 weeks. This means that the total duration of each project could amount to anywhere between 1-3 months. Before we begin your project, we provide a reasonable estimate as to how long the project will take.
By logging onto to our client portal, you’ll be able to track the progress made on your project and communicate directly with our team.
What if I require updates after my website is completed?
We encourage our clients to purchase one of our two maintenance plans — Aura or Aura Pro. Both plans include fast and reliable hosting, comprehensive security, and text-based updates.
Without a maintenance plan, clients are responsible for performing their own updates. If you would like Stratigem to support you in this process, update fees can be anywhere between $99 and $499.

Can Stratigem redesign my existing website?
Yes, Stratigem can redesign your existing website. However, all Stratigem sites are created from scratch using the tools and platforms we endorse. If your current website has more than 5 complete pages, Stratigem offers a $200 discount on all plans.
