Welcome to Stratigem. This Payment and Service Agreement Policy (“Agreement”) outlines the financial terms and conditions associated with the web design services provided by Stratigem, accessible at trystratigem.com. By engaging with Stratigem for web design services, you (“Client”) agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
Payment Terms Upon completion of a web design project, the Client is obligated to pay the full design fee as outlined in the project quotation. Payment is due within 14 days following the Client’s approval of the final design. The Client is required to approve the final design within 7 days of presentation, making the total payment window 21 days from project completion.
Payment Processing All payments are to be processed through Stratigem’s website via PayPal. Payments via third-party platforms such as Cash App, Venmo, or Zelle are not accepted. Clients will be informed of this payment policy at the commencement of the project. Full payment must be received for the transfer of the design and associated intellectual property rights to the Client. The design and any related materials remain the property of Stratigem until payment is made in full.
Additional Costs Clients should be aware that hosting and domain registration costs are separate from Stratigem’s design fees. On average, domains cost approximately $12, and hosting fees can exceed $250 annually. Subscription costs for services such as Microsoft 365 and G Suite are also the Client’s responsibility. Stratigem will assist in configuration, but these costs are not included in the design fee.
Maintenance and Updates Stratigem provides 12 months of maintenance and updates from the date of website activation, covering minor changes, bug fixes, and software updates. Major modifications or additions will be treated as new projects and quoted separately. This ongoing service is conditional upon the website remaining under Stratigem’s management. Employing external designers or altering the site independently voids this maintenance agreement.
Security and Privacy Payment information is securely processed through PayPal, with details stored only on your PayPal account if you choose to save them. Stratigem values your privacy and security, adhering to the highest standards in all transactions.
Deposits and Refunds While not required, clients may opt to make a deposit towards the project cost, which will be deducted from the final invoice. Given the approval-based design process, all sales are considered final, and refunds are not offered. Approval of the final design by the Client signifies acceptance, and by initiating a project with Stratigem, the Client agrees to these terms.
Agreement to Terms By starting a project with Stratigem, the Client acknowledges and agrees to this Payment and Service Agreement Policy. Stratigem believes in fairness and transparency, ensuring Clients are fully satisfied and approve of the final product before any payment is processed.
